DFR 874 Ford 10hp, bodywork W.Plant & Co. Blackpool. Especially for taking children, mainly to Infectious Disease Hospitals. Parents were not allowed to travel with their children, so the Mickey Mouse Ambulance was to help alleviate the fear of being taken away, it worked with majority of patients.
